The Next Step in Mental Health: New Disorders in ICD 11 & DSM-5-TR

This micro-course will review previously emerging models of gaming disorder, prolonged grief disorder, and compulsive sexual behavior disorder, which have now been included in the International Classification of Diseases 11th Revision (ICD-11) and are under review for the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, Text Revision (DSM 5-TR). An introduction the World Health Organization, ICD-11, and DSM-5 will open the course. Highlights of each disorder will be presented, including symptomatology and diagnostic assessment.
